Broken Innocence - Letter 20 - KenyaDear Flame,
You are absolutely so wonderful. I love you so much, and I can't believe that we are actually together. Dad really loved you, and told me a little secret right before he left. I was actually quite surprised to hear it. I'll tell you in person, he probably wouldn't want a record of it.
I turned the temperatures down after reading your letter, and I've been keeping a stack of crackers near me at all times in all rooms. I'm so glad that you did the research. I feel so great that you did that, and don't worry, I'm not really a spicy fan anyway.
What are your favorite non-spicy non-greasy foods? I'd really like to cook us our dinners now and again. I don't want you to do all the work. You're just so good to me Flame. I love you so much.
I left one of my novels on your pillow to read. I really hope you like it... it's one of my favorites. A romance.
Confession of LoveThrough the light and through the dark,
with you by my side never to part.
I can stand strong because you are here.
There's no one in this world I hold more dear.
Insecurity A woman quietly slips outside, tired from all the talk of weddings and couples. She's tired of seeing the kids run around and watching everyone else have fun. Her fiance lives an ocean away, and his problem is just the same. They both suffer from depression, made worse by the separation. She cries alone while he's at work, waiting for him to come home. She just looks forward to that bit of time that they can video chat after work.
The guilt has set in hard with the woman and she slips down into the basement as the wedding planning committee crash her quiet place. She just wants to escape all of the noise and the thoughts of what she can't have. She's doing her best to hold it together, trying to show him that she can be strong. As the day goes on it wears on her harder and harder and she wonders if she can continue.
Tears stream down her cheeks and she curls up in her bed. She wants to go home to him and be in his arms. She wants to be hi
Happiness (For: Ryan651)When we met I was in darkness
And had pain you could not see
You brought light into my life that
Was far beyond my dreams
The more time we spent together
The happier I became
Until the time we finally met
I thought I'd gone insane
The joy that you could give me
The pain my leaving brought
The past three days haunt me
I know I lost my way
I hope that you'll forgive me
I let my fears take me away
I wish that I could show you
Just how happy we will be
I'm just sorry I needed time
I hope you'll still marry me
Home She stares at his picture - the video screen just way too dark. It's 3:30 in the morning, and while he sleeps, the girl just finds it hard. His roommates woke her up at 2:30, and she hadn't been able to sleep a wink since. She has to make a decision, to keep after the professors to change her grades or to just forget it and go back home. She doesn't want the degree, but knows what her family would think and worries about going down that road. Earlier she had come to a decision, deciding to leave school behind. However, one call to her aunt made her question her own mind. Before she returned her aunt's three missed calls, she muted the microphone to not disturb her fiance's sleep.
The conversation had started out slowly, the girl just making sure things were alright. Her aunt wanted to talk about her vacation, although she didn't realize how much it annoyed the girl. Her aunt asked about her relationship, and wondered if it would continue on. The girl c
