Writing Exercise - 6:53 am 14 June 2014 She woke alone in bed. The soft glow of her computer screen absent - the call had ended in the middle of the night. She had fallen asleep while talking with her boyfriend again. It brought her comfort knowing that he was there on the computer, watching over her even if he was half a world away.
A five hour time difference. She counted on her fingers to try to figure out what time it was where he was. Eleven am. Certainly a Skype call would go through, but there was no answer. It was no matter - she was used to this. He had been staying up all hours of the night to talk with her and make sure she was alright. The woman knew what love was now, only because of him.
She tried twice more, but let it go, going onto the internet to try to distract herself. Trying to bring up nothing but happy thoughts since her boyfriend wasn't there to help save her from her own thoughts. They were already starting to echo in her head. As she looked on Facebook

This was literally the first time I had actually painted since my art lessons when I was in seventh grade. It was actually really fun to do, just wait until I have time to post the rest
The point of the project was to look at different angles of lighting on the ping-pong ball that I painted.
